Carol Bitter started Bittersweet Antiques in 1988, after many years as a Department Store Buyer in New York and Charlotte, NC. She makes several trips a year to England and Scotland to seek out unique items of furniture and interesting accessories. Bittersweet Antiques stocks a wide selection of antique furniture and accessories from the middle 19th Century to the turn of the 20th Century. Within the shop is JB's corner, presenting a variety of decorative English sporting items such as pond yachts, split cane fly rods, wood shaft golf clubs and hunting bronzes.
