LEGAL EMPLOYMENT & EXPERIENCE: Mr. Tobin is the former Co-Executive Director of the Georgia USA&M office based in Atlanta. As a practicing attorney and a partner in Tobin & Hoffspiegel, he specializes in civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial law. He has been a defense attorney in the area of asbestos litigation and has been trained as a neutral by the Manville Personal Injury Trust. Significant mediation cases include a dispute between the City of Columbus and one of its contractors pertaining to defects in a 9.6 million dollar waste treatment facility.

Mr. Tobin is a former Magistrate Judge for Cobb County, Georgia and is a Court Certified Mediator for that county and a State Certified Mediator. As a State Certified Mediation Trainer, he has instructed over 200 attorneys in the past five years.
